Types of Homes      Condominium They come in many different types and forms. There are many types of condominium homes. High rise, Garden style and Town Home condominium. These homes are on condominium lands. In this situation the mortgage loan is differently structured and rates are different. Your common area and in case of condo town homes, the moving and snow removal is also done by the management. The Condominium association fees are higher and usually increase more often than other homes.      Town Homes These homes are on residential lands not condominium lands. You have a Home Owners Association; you have to take care of your own mowing and snow removal. The mortgage rates are similar to single family homes. These homes are usually in an area called a PUD (Planned Unit Development).      Single Family Homes They are detached homes which are at least 10 feet apart from each other. Ranging from Cape Cods to Colonials, they come in all different shapes and sizes. In the newer developments they have a Home Owner’s Association but you are responsible for everything in your home. Mortgages are just straight forward for these types of homes.
